On Friday 17th November, Live 1,2 and 3 took part in a Natwest My Money Sense Session. The students were split into groups where they worked on a number of tasks linked to mobile phones and finding the best deals. We were very lucky to have 2 Natwest volunteers come and help us for the session to offer advice and support and to answer any questions the students had. The session started by looking at what a mobile phone should have – ordering features into importance before moving onto mobile phone packages and comparing amount of text, minutes and data depending upon use. The tasks were not easy for the students but they worked as a group well and it was linked to real life skills they will need. At the end of the session the groups had to present their findings to the other groups and were all awarded a Natwest goody bag for taking part. It was a huge success!
