The LIVE students were given the opportunity to participate in a residential trip to Butlins in Minehead on the 19th June 2017.  We took 15 students and 9 staff on a 5 day break, the students took part in activities such as swimming, Go Karting and Ten Pin Bowling and as the weather was so good, trips to the beach.  The students also thoroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment where they sang and danced along to tribute bands such as Take That and participated in activities put on by the Red Coats.  All students and staff had a fabulous time, it is amazing to see how the students grow in confidence in a short space of time and come back to college with wonderful memories of the time they have spent with their friends.

Big Top music

Strive are having 8 weeks of amazing music, art and drama in connection with the Big Top music group and their colleagues. So far we have explored a range of media and instruments, producing an array of sounds, art work and movements, all of which will culminate in an multi media exhibition in the community at the end of the project.
The photos demonstrate how engaged the students are and how much they are enjoying these sessions.
