Logistics of day

Classroom bases

Groups of students will be allocated to a classroom in college and movement between rooms will be limited. Parents and carers will be informed of times and where to drop off and collect their child during the college day. Outside space will be used as much as possible bearing in mind social distancing.


Lunch times will be staggered across groups to ensure staff have sufficient breaks and allocated staff to cover break and lunch times. Students to bring all food and drinks required for the day from home in a small bag.
STRIVE students will remain in their classrooms. LTS will support students in their classroom. If feeding they will wear full PPE.
If food needs reheating, temperature probes must be used.


The college kitchen will not be operating during the autumn term.

Length of day

The timings of the college day, for an interim period will be staggered (start and end times) to avoid pinch points.

Admin staff

There will be Admin staff on site from September 1st 2020 to provide support each day.

IT staff

The IT team will be working on-site to provide support each day. Other IT staff will continue to support those working remotely. PPE will be worn for any work outside of the office. Equipment will be wiped down before and after use.
